Within its mountainous perimeters is a huge diversity of terrain, flora, and climate, with the cool northern mountains of 1800m (where Ngwenya Glass is situated) dropping down, in less than 200 kilometers, to a flat , dry and hot country, at 100 meters above sea level in the south. On Ngwenya mountain is the oldest known mine (red ochre from iron ore) in the world dating back to 41000 BC. The Swazi's have proud and ancient traditions notable among those being "Ncwala" (festival of Fruits) in December or January , and "Umhlanga" (Reed Dance) in August or September. There are also fine hotels, casino's, restaurants and golf courses, and visitors can
